Our Ecosystem
Our ecosystem is the Tropical Rainforest. Tropical Rainforests can be found all over the world. Scientists have counted about 100-300 different species in one 2 1/2- acre.

The Real World
Here are some places you could visit.
This is in Central America. Most of this area has been taken down for cattle ranching and for sugar cane plantations.
Africa is the worlds second largest rainforest. In Africa they have many mangrove swamps and flooded forests.

What you will find in the Tropical Rainforest
You may find things like waterfalls, a lot of animals, maybe people, and even very pretty flowers.

Second Producer
This is the second biggest producer in the tropical rainforest. Flowers are everywhere and they help out so much.

The Hemlock trees are the biggest producers because they are about 150 feet high.

Mid-level Consumer
The Pacman frog has a mouth that is the size of their body. A female Pacman frog measures up to 15 cm or around 6 inches.

The Tropical Rainforest.
The Tropical Rainforest is mostly trees and animals. It is mostly warm year-round, with an average of 50-260 inches of rainfall yearly.

In the Tropical Rainforest they have many different top-level predators but the tiger is the most common.
